Tatsu Te Ryu Karate-Jutsu
The "Jutsu" ryuwa is different from that of its "Do" counterpart. Tatsu Te Ryu Karate Jutsu is structured as a semi-traditional art and is taught from a secular standpoint and utilizes the same etiquette, conduct and philosopies as found within a Japanese dojo. While some of the technical aspects are similar to that of the "Do", Tatsu Te Ryu Karate-Jutsu utilizes its own unique curriculum including; basics, katas, physical and written requirements.
While we do focus on developing self-discipline, personal growth, and good moral character of a student, Tatsu Te Ryu Karate-Jutsu aims to develop a students warrior side as well. We focus on self-defenses, ground work, and real life combat scenarios in an effort to give our students an advantage in any defensive situation. This dynamic style teaches its student to uses their skills quickly and effectively when faced with a dangerous situation.
Like a majority of martial arts disciplines, Tatsu Te Ryu Karate-Jutsu utilizes a belt ranking system to illustrate a students skill. Below you will find the breakdown of the color belts that are earned by the students of Tatsu Te Ryu Karate-Jutsu.
